Once you get into your freshman year you finally start looking towards a career that you would like to do for the rest of your life. Although, as a freshman it’s very hard to decide what you would like to do. My views about what I wanted to do have already changed. My freshman year I wanted to be an Anesthesiologist, but then I job shadowed as a sophomore at the hospital and I just did not like the environment. I find it so hard to decide what you would like to do at such a young age, even just graduating high school and starting your life at college is very hard to do, let alone deciding the rest of your life at the age of eighteen. When I decided to job shadow as a junior, it was very hard to decipher between what I wanted to do. I wanted to try something very new and different just see if I would like something different. I knew going into the job shadow that it might not be something that I would love to do, but I believe that you need to try something different than what you have always thought you wanted to do because you never know if your interests will stay the same. As I tell you about my experiences during my job shadow this year, I think you will notice that this isn’t necessarily something that I would love to do. I job shadowed Debra Hudson on February 11, 2016 at Liberty Electronics in Franklin. As soon as I arrived she made me feel very welcome, her position is RMA (Return Manager Associate).
