Defining Moment In My Life

Both my parents always wanted me to become a psychiatrist or a lawyer someday. They both believed I would have been a great candidate for those careers. In reality they couldn’t have been more wrong. Those careers never really appealed to me. There’s always a defining moment that occurs in your life when you know you were meant to take a certain path in life. I was only fourteen years old when that major moment occurred to me. After that I knew the career path I wanted to take and I haven’t looked back ever since. I could tell you many stories that inspired me to major in communications. I’ve met numerous celebrities and attended many events which were all fun and exciting in their own way. However, it wasn’t until I realized what happens behind the scenes is what interests me the most.

It was completely random and little did I know the influence he would later on have on my life. I was excited to meet him because I knew he was the man who made Justin Bieber famous. He was the brains behind Justin Bieber’s talent. I ran into him as we were both making an exit out of the theater. As I approached him I was a bit apprehensive because I was afraid I would get a rude response or I would just get pushed aside. However, I built up whatever courage I had and I approached him. To my pleasant surprise, Scooter Braun was very kind. He had his own charismatic way of speaking and connecting with people in a way that made you feel like you were talking to an old friend. We spoke very briefly about the movie and shared our own opinions on it. I congratulated him on his success and he kindly thanked me and reminded me that if it wasn’t for fans like me all of this wouldn’t even be possible. Our entire conversation only lasted less than 10 minutes but it made an impact on what I decided I wanted to do with my
