I 'm The Empower
I believe I am the empower in most ways. My desire to improve my brothers’ ability to function in society. Is something I try to do at least once a day. I believe me doing what I am doing will make his life and others around him a whole lot better when I say better I mean easy going. Also the way people talk about him or laugh because of something he has said or done. My brother has no idea that the kids are laughing at him not with him. It hurts to know that he does not know the difference and he thinks he is in the right when really he is in the wrong. Trying to help him understand the difference in things like when something is and or is not real. That way if something comes up and really happens he will know what to do to be able to help himself. To a point I feel like if I was in his shoes I would want to know so I would not get hurt or I will be able to do something for myself or for another. I feel like he can do so much better than he is now. When he has to go to the doctor I want the doctor to tell him you are doing so much better instead of always coming back with “oh well this happened” or “this needs to …show more content…
I almost have to say things or do things in a way that you would tell a 7 to 8-year-old kid. That is the main way you will get through to him. We will play games like who sings this or where is this from, bet you don’t know what this is. Just different things like that to make him feel like he shocked me that he knows. He gets a kick out of it and he is learning to function better or to do for himself. Before the doctor told us that if he falls or gets hit to hard he could break something me and him would see who can carry the most stuff inside. I would always grab like one or two bags out of the car he would care four or five. Then when it came to the cat and dog food he would try to get the dog food and he would say you are weak we get the cat food knowing he was struggling to get carry the 50-pound bag of dog food. I did that to build him in a few different ways. 1: to make him feel good about himself. 2: to build some muscle on him. 3: to get him from always wanting to be by himself locked up in his
