The My Black is Beautiful is an ad that focuses on Black women. The ad displays six gorgeous ladies who were selected to be the ambassadors of the campaign. The women are in action in the community making a great impact in many people day to day life across the globe. The ad have many different layers to it from the ambassadors, sponsors, and multimedia. What is the real motive of the advertisement? Is there a hidden agenda. The “My Black is Beautiful” advertisement is celebrating Black women’s true beauty across the globe. The advertisement reflects on the beauty Black women have within them, and the beauty on the outside as well. The main objective of the advertisement is to celebrate Black women’s strengths. The advertisement also depicts several great characteristics of Black women. Black women are beautiful, confident, intelligent, and loving people. Black women come in various shades of black, and different shapes and sizes; that is what makes Black women beautiful. These ambassadors of “My Black is Beautiful” are full of confidence and a sense of self-worth. Black women are redesigning the idea of Black beauty. The advertisement effectively uses ethos, pathos, and logos to persuade the audience of its message that black is beautiful. …show more content…
My black is beautiful is a movement to redefine black beauty which has been established by popular culture for many decades. Popular culture has determined that the beauty of black women comes from the outer appearances when Black women have much more to offer. The inner beauty is the strong characteristics and attributes that many good women possess. All the women in the advertisement are professionally dressed women. Their confidence is displayed in their smiles and also in the way they are holding each other to be accountable. There is a sense of sisterhood displayed in the advertisement as the women stand in unity holding each other
