I have been collecting all of my writing, my notes, texts, emails, and social media, and picking out the categories I want to code for. Since most of my raw data is already archived, on my computer or in my notebook, I decided to leave the raw data where it is and create different categories to sort the information in, excluding my social media posts. I was planning to focus on audience and purpose, because sometimes I act differently around a person at different times because of the situation at hand. For example, when I’m talking to my parents, I usually treat them like I would a friend, casual and not really paying attention to the words I use, however, if the situation is more serious, I would treat my parents like I would a superior,
