Best Interpersonal Comunicator Analysis

Improved Essays
In everyday life, people usually do not consider how they are constantly gauging one another based on words exchanged between the two, either through small coffee talk, political disagreements, and even gossip. It may be by the language one uses, or the way the body reacts; however one thing that stands out is probably the way a person can make you feel. The people in my life that I interact with each has their own unique way of communicating, some good and some bad. So who are my best and worst interpersonal communicators? Though it would be going against the assignment, there is not one person who is my best interpersonal communicator. See, I met an amazing group of girls this semester that I know will always be the people that I love …show more content…
She is well-spoken in a way that her words wash over you in a calm wave. She sets a good example of how a good speaker should speak patiently and considerately, while still expressing her opinion deliberately and being true to her identity. She is deeply in touch with her faith and her words display her intelligence. I would say that most people find that rather appealing about her, as most go to her for wisdom. I, myself, will usually turn to her for guidance. Second is Callie. Now, her voice can be quite small, however, it is a quality that adds to her communication, since she is a sweet and humble person. The best communication quality that she possesses is her encouragement and support towards people. She pushes others to look past self-doubt and go for it and is always paying other girls on our floor compliments. Other people will definitely take away modesty and a positive feeling from talking to her. Lastly, Kaleigh is outspoken and very confident in her actions, which I admire. She delivers her opinions in a strong stride and is not afraid to tell you the truth. Also, she is the biggest comedian of our group, who always manages to keep our spirits up. On Thursday evenings after the torture of chemistry lab, she is the one boosting my morale once again. Other people always seem to admire her wonderful sense of humor and the fact that she is always there to cheer people …show more content…
A major example is this boy, Logan, back from my high school, who could not go a sentence without having to “jokingly” mock or ridicule someone. While some people would laugh, most, I included, did not appreciate it. It would rub off me with a sense of arrogance as though he was better than everyone else and he would never put any thought into how others would feel about the way he speaks. There is a difference between confidence and complete egocentrism, and some people do not seem to comprehend how important it is to differentiate. In his communication, all he can ever do is rub people the wrong way, because he downgrades your view point and is not considerate of the audience. There had been times in class where multiple peers would tell him to cut it out and when the feedback is ignored, Logan demonstrating how he cannot properly present his ideas to others; it displays his immaturity as both a person and

She was strong and loyal to her friend and her family (despite what had happened to her while she was with her mother). I think one of the things I loved the most about her was how realistic her grief was. Sure, there was hate towards her mother for doing what she did – but it never took over and she still felt grief. She reminded me of a trapped dog, sweet and cuddly to those who showed her kindness but a rabid animal to those with opposite intentions. She does some pretty silly things though, dumb and completely idiotic things, but it didn’t take away from her character as a whole.…

In the Colorado Women Hall of Fame, there are one hundred and fifty-two women in total, out of all one hundred fifty-two women, there are three that caught my eye the most. There is Chipeta, a Native American woman that belonged to the Ute Tribe. Owl Woman, the Cheyenne princes managed the relations between Native Americans and The Whites. Finally, Baby Doe, also known as the silver queen. One of the main similarities between all three women, was that they all got inducted into the hall of fame in 1985.…

Although her overall confident personality shows it, she has many flaws which are exploited by other people, which is ironic as she does the same. An example of this is her stage fright, or more specifically her irrational fear of people watching her play guitar, there are two incidents where this happens. One is where she is street-performing with her back to the audience, and someone comes and steals all her tips. Another is when she specifically finds a music teacher who doesn’t need to look at her. But the main good part her personality shines during her first two interactions with Max Hammer and his group on web-weave.…

I agree quite strongly with Hemingway that age brings increasing difficulty in finding heroes, but that one still needs them. As skepticism increases, the number of people one can admire or hope to emulate decreases. An older person, having more experience and having acquired, one hopes, a more objective and realistic assessment of other people, tends to see more flaws than a younger person might. On the other hand, the older person is likely to recognize and value certain qualities such as careful reasoning, empathy, and kindness that a younger person might overlook or consider irrelevant. (Yet another problem is that a person's heroes tend to be older than herself, and the number of possibilities dwindles, but that has to be accepted!)…
