Personal Narrative Essay About The Day I Met Aaliyah

Decent Essays
It was seventh grade when I met my four friends Aaliyah, Jaiden, Elena, and Hannah. Me and my friend Elena had met because we had the same homeroom. Elena was one of the sweetest people I have met and I loved how she accepted me for who I am. We had a lot in common like we were both fangirls of 5sos and Dan and Phil. She was so funny and nice and overall just a lovable person. I met Aaliyah through Elena and I realized also that Aaliyah had a lot in common with me and Elena. Aaliyah was so energetic and outrageous, she would not let anything bring you down. We also met Hannah and Jaiden, and they were both so funny and also outgoing.
Then once we meet each other, we became our own group and we would all eat lunch together near the exit door in the classroom in a circle. It was always fun eating lunch with them we would share food and we would bake goods for each other. After we had lunch we would go outside and sit down and talk or go on the swings. Overall, we would just always be with each other and talk about funny memes and school drama. If any of us were sad and having bad days we would comfort each other. Our school always used to have middle school

Even volleyball had made me, Jaiden, Elena, and Aaliyah closer it was fun to have my best friends with me at games and practices. I remember Jayden's mom would take me to games with Jaiden and we would always get food before the game. In 8th grade we had all quit volleyball because of our new coach and we thought it was too hard. We were all a team who would stick side by side and have each others backs. I also remember spending the night with Aaliyah and Elena and we would stay up till 3 in the morning and sing the good old Blink 182 songs and also share gossip like any other person. We had a tight relationship, but then Elena and Aaliyah would always talk and i felt like I was not part of their

There were so many students, I honestly did not know who to be friends with and who not to be friends with. As the first week of school passed I quickly found out who you do not want to be friends with unless you wanted to get in trouble. A few weeks into the first nine weeks of school, there was a girl ( who happens to be my best friend now) and she was reading Harry Potter which I happened to be reading as well. We soon became friends, then best friends because we have so much in common. August and Jack along with Summer are like my best friend and I.…

Moving schools away from all of my friends should’ve been an appalling experience, surprisingly, it was a blessing in disguise. I went to Agnes Baptist Elementary from kindergarten to 5th grade and I had friends that I've known since I was 3. I loved it there and knew the school like the back of my hand. Everything was superior, like most good things, though there were times where they weren’t, I was harassed by a bully almost everyday, my grades were getting inadequate, and my mom didn’t want me to be a sad, disconsolate 7th grader at a new junior high. In the result, I moved and I went to Savage Middle School, a school that had 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.…

Moving here from North Carolina when I was four changed my life completely, I was away from my family who I lived with my whole life, thrown into a school with a bunch of kids who lived here since they were born and told to “make friends.” This changed the next 13 years of my life to something I can never picture not having. The first four years, both my parents had full time jobs and my grandma helped raise me a lot, she taught me so many manners and how to behave, she even ended up living across the street from me for 2 of those years, they were rough for my parents, new baby, just moving, having to find jobs, making friends, and getting food on the table for me. Thats where my amazing family came in, with bringing home cooked meals…
