My Best Friend is Gone
The nerve racking mystery of, why, why would she do this to herself. Why would she leave me here alone with no one, why? This brilliant story was written by Gayle Forman. “I Was Here” is an amazing book. I would give this book at least 4 stars. I would not recommend this to ages under 13. “I Was Here” is a heart breaking, traumatic and moving story all at the same time. Its about an 18 or 19 year old girl that had just suffered through a tremendous loss.
The main character is Cody. Cody is a daughter of a young single mom. Cody is very closed off and doesn’t like much attention. Her best friend since kindergarten chose to take her life away. Meg was her best friend. She was very outgoing and had good life. At
