This brilliant story was written by Gayle Forman. “I Was Here” is an amazing book. I would give this book at least 4 stars. I would not recommend this to ages under 13. “I Was Here” is a heart breaking, traumatic and moving story all at the same time. Its about an 18 or 19 year old girl that had just suffered through a tremendous loss.
