What revolves the world, what makes the world work or light up. Language, Language is what powers up the world, just like a light bulb, that powers up your home. Both James Baldwin, author of If Black English isn't a Language, Then Tell me what Is? Then adding to my list is Sherman Alexie author of Superman and Me. They both emphasize that language could allow or disembowel any person in our twisted world. With their point of views are different from each other, about how they were raised and adding the environment they live in.Both authors come from different parts of the word, meaning their English is different from each other. Alexie acknowledges himself “ A smart Indian is a dangerous person, widely feared.” That he is a person everyone fears, to know something to have to the time to sit down to learn something. That takes skills to learn something to understand what to say, to write, to read a piece a paper and to answer it as well. Which will surprise people to take a step back to see that a lower person like Alexie can understand the English language to have a voice in any matter in the world, to change something in the future to help Alexie and his family and friends, to have a better life in the world?
