How My Belief System has Influenced My Life
I would like you to take moment and clear your mind. The story I am about to share with you is one that has given me the ability to embrace the world around me through Gods’ eyes and not my own.
I was baptized at the age of five. God revealed my calling or purpose in life, which was to help heal the hearts and minds of others. I lived faithfully to the doctrine of Jesus Christ in his teaching “The Sermon On the Mount.” At the age of fourteen I broke my promise to God. I had promised to save my virtue for the man I was going to marry. I became engaged to an older man and gave my virtue to him. However, he did not marry me. This sent me spiraling down a destructive road. I had convinced myself that

From the way I view the world around me, my actions, and the way I relate to others, raising my children, making decisions, and dealing with adversity when it crosses my path. I am a child of God. God is my foundation and it is through him that my very being exists. I am not religious nor belong to any organization (church), and I do not label my faith. However, I am a very spiritual person and have a very strong connection with God. I live my life to the best of my ability, by the spirit of Jesus Christ. It is through faith, prayer, and meditation, reading the bible, and writing letters to God that allows me to grow every day. This is my daily …show more content…
I ask you to tell everyone I love them and bless them except for the devil. I ask that you help the sick to get better; the weak to get stronger, the homeless to find shelter; the people who are going hungry to have enough food, to feed their families; the cripple to be un-crippled; the blind, to be able to see; the mute, to be able to speak; the deaf, to be able to hear. I pray for those who do know you God but, have lost their way and have lost faith, or believe that they have done so much wrong that you don’t love them anymore; to be restored and uplifted to come back to you father God. I also ask for those who don’t know you God, may find you and turn their lives over to you; so they too can enjoy your love and blessings and the peace that comes from you; the comfort that you, can only provide. God I want to thank-you for the blessings you have bestowed upon me even when I could not see them or understand them. I am so grateful for having a father who loves me so unconditionally; and who disciplines me so that I learn from my mistakes, so I don’t have to keep reliving them. In Jesus name
