My Belief On Ultimate Reality

Improved Essays
What is your belief about ultimate reality? My belief about ultimate reality is that God exists and he created humankind. I believe there is one God that we all pray to him regardless of religion. I do not believe that you have to follow religions to worship God. I have a relationship with God even though my religion is unclear because of my beliefs. What is your belief about the nature of the universe? My belief about the nature of the universe is that the universe was created by the Bing Bang Theory. I believe in naturalism, where the universe came out of nothing; bringing time and matter into existence billions of years ago. I believe the universe conceived as a close system and exited before God. I think that the universe was born …show more content…
My belief about knowledge is that God can communicate with me by praying. I think God sends people messages, by giving them hope; as long they have faith in him. Yet, I do not believe God talks to us through the Bible because of how do people know that everything that is written, is true and that it actually happened? I believe the world is full of mysteries with questions that will never be answered nor understood. I think it is meant to be that way because it allows people to have a different point of view of what their knowledge or their worldviews are. What is your basis of ethics? My bias of ethic is knowing what is right and what is wrong. What I believe is right might be wrong to others because people make excuses and support their verdicts and not differentiating ethics. For instance, I consider people who lie have no principles and they should be honest with themselves in order, to be honest with others. Yet, people lie and justify their lying by continuing to lie and make excuses of why they lie. What guides me through life is being an honest person; yet, people might take my sincerity the wrong …show more content…

On an asphalt baseball field in Brooklyn, two teams from local Yeshivah schools meet. At first, it just seems like a baseball game between two Jewish high school teams. Hate boils as Danny Saunders, the leader of the Hasidic team, purposely hits a pitch right back at the pitcher, crushing his glasses and landing him in the hospital for a week. The philosopher Albert Camus paints and bleak picture of the human existence, saying that our lives have no meaning and are, as a consequence absurd, because all our efforts are futile and hopeless. However, if we can accept that choice is intrinsic to a thinking being, then we can admit to ourselves that everything we do, no matter how insignificant, possesses some meaning and it gives our existence purpose. There are two certainties in life deduced by the thinking of Rene Descartes; one is that we are a thinking mind and the other is that we exist. I want to extend this thinking further to include the obligation to choose, find what is sufficient for purpose and meaning and conclude that we have enough in our current conditions.…
