For some reason I’m not sure why we primarily went to Pentecostal churches, its just where we would always go. Apart of the Pentecostal religion we believe in the holy ghost and spirit. The holy ghost is what goes through you, so that you can feel god run through you which allows you to speak in tongues. My freshman year I remember how stressed out I was with college classes. I noticed that my body would easily crack and just the amount of tension I carried was not normal. That’s when I started getting monthly massages back at home, and I remember one of the mousses asking me if I worked at a desk. Which I agreed with him, that’s why I went to him so he could help release some of those knots. Now, that I do not get monthly massages, I usually get a back massage from my boyfriend or meditating really helps me as

It can be different things for different people. For some, spirituality could be engaging with others and being a part of a collective community while for others, it may be spending time in a meditative state sharing your thoughts with God. To generalize spirituality is a common mistake made by many people.…

No one has the same definition for spirituality as it means something different to everyone. To me spirituality is something that gives you meaning in life; what your were born to do on this Earth. Spirituality is something that is private and of a higher power; only you can find your spirituality. Spirituality is to recognise the joy in things that lie beyond human understanding. For me it is an excellent opportunity to reflect on what I’ve been doing recently.…
