My Basketball Hoop

Decent Essays
In the making of my basketball hoop I encountered problems with dimensions of the hoop. While I was designing it in Inventor I didn't like my original design so I completely changed it. Since I did this I didn't know the dimensions, so there was a lot of trial and error. At the end of the project my dimensions were wrong on my 3d print and things didn't fit together so I had to sand some pieces. There was another also major problem and this was the design. After I 3d printed everything and constructed to hoop I noticed that the front of the hoop was heavier than the back and it tended to tip over sometimes. If I were to redo this project I would redo the dimensions by looking at someone else who did this and base my dimensions off theirs.
