To start with, I’d like to discuss my performance in my classes variations. My technique lacked in certain parts of the classes variation on both nights. In opening, my tombe wasn’t correctly done and looked like I lifted my knee. I believe that I should considering my improvements in technique, who I am as a dance student, and how I apply any critiques. I find that in class I have improved on technique in my feet, legs, and arms. I noticed that I am able to balance longer. The stretch in my legs, arms, and body has improved when we do barre exercises. When we go across the floor, I don’t feel lost and mistakes are made because I performed the step wrong instead of me forgetting the step. Whenever we are told what to improve on I make sure to apply it to my steps so I do it correctly next time. In class, I make sure to pay attention to instructions given and don’t talk whenever the teacher is speaking. I listen to the advice given on how to improve and try to utilize it. I make sure to mark through combinations when we are allowed to and even on the sides, so I know what steps to do on both the right and left side. I definitely still have improvements to make, but I feel prepared to move up a level. It is up to you on whether my improvements in technique have qualified me to move up a
