Technology Autobiography

During my life time I used a lot of technology and a there has also been a huge advancement in technology over the past two decades. For example computers were created and modernized to fit its growing consumer base, this consumer base including me and my friends. I have used computer since a very young age, learning stuff from my dad since a very young age as well, my dad worked fixing computer for my younger years, and it was always interesting how he got rid of viruses. Adobe Photoshop 5.5 was released in 1999 which I was learning last year in Ms. Stanton’s class. Game spy, a server host that was shut down in the last year was also founded in 1999. I actually used game spy servers a whole bunch seeing that a lot

For example my mom told me that the first time I was on the plane I was having way too much fun with the turbulence, that while everyone was scared of the really heavy I was laughing and thinking about it as a roller coaster. I went every year to Santo Domingo by small charter planes that my family would rent out. Also for the first few years of my life, it think it stopped when I was around 8, I went to my grandmothers on my father’s side house in Florida to Disneyland and the other parks in Orlando. I’ve also always really loved roller coasters. Been going to theme parks since a young age… even the cheap one that were over in Puerto Rico that you could swear would brake if you got …show more content…
At this point I entertained myself a lot with YouTube and since I was in the hospital for a really long time they allowed me to bring in my ps3 which is what I had at the time. I remember a friend of mine coming over to the hospital to play videogames with me. I needed 3 blood transfusions and a probably would have died at any other time in history seeing that I was one of the youngest patients to get that disease for that time. After the surgeries and getting better we had to move because during the time I was in the hospital they closed my mom’s business because she would not leave my side. So I moved here where I learned how to drive this summer, getting my license in January. I rode a lot of skateboard around me leaving Puerto Rico and getting here. And I own a ps4 which is how I keep in contact with most of my friends from Puerto Rico, using the ps4 we play the same games and use what is called, party chat, to talk to each other. If not then I call relatively often (thank you unlimited minutes). I am happy I can have unlimited minutes because I remember me and my mom both whiny about it at some point

Well I had gone to Six Flags and when I had got there I was so anxious to get on every ride in Six Flags but then I had heard a person on the Goliath scream ”stop the ride” it was so funny and scary at the same time. Then I saw that almost every ride had so many twists and turns and even circles that go round and round. Last year I had gone on a roller coaster which was the Mind Bender and it wasn’t so scary. The Mind Bender had so many circles that go round and round.…

Television and other forms of media are important in this day in age to get information out to the masses even if some of it is bias. In the book Fahrenheit 451 Ray Bradbury uses ideas and builds a setting to support the idea that television is important to society even with its flaws. Montag, the main character, lives in a dystopian world where firemen are no longer fighting fires, they are creating them. Montag believes that he understands his world better than anyone but when he meets Clarisse McClellan, he finds out he couldn’t be more wrong. Tv in Montag’s world may be used as a force of evil, but our society is not corrupt and Tvs are used for a force of good.…

What has the world turned into? All I see today are kids on their phones all the time, not socializing at all. The science fiction novel Fahrenheit 451 written by Ray Bradbury isn’t as different as the society of today. There is less socializing because of technology, there are hateful crimes, and love can be a fake thing. Today’s world in many ways is very similar to the world that Ray Bradbury creates in the dystopian novel Fahrenheit 451.…

The world is filled with diversity and culture. These differences are what make the Earth beautiful. Without culture or communication, the world would be filled with mindless animals. This type of dystopian world is the main setting in the novel Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. Ever since I was little I have been very adventurous and open-minded to trying new things. I was always excited to have the opportunity to make new memories that would last a lifetime. I went to Sixflags Over Texas quite a bit as a child, since it was only thirty minutes from my house. Every time I made my way toward the Superman I would stop and admire the people on the ride known as Dive Bomber Alley. A ride that slowly brings you up to a one hundred and fifty foot arch before it drops you with nothing but the sky to catch your fall.…

One ride I really liked was this enormous waterslide. I was really scared of this ride at first but going down was wonderful ultimately. Me and my Brother went on all of the rides and rollercoasters, but I am not a huge fan of rollercoasters like my brother is, but he convinced me to go on the roller coasters. The first roller coaster we went to had a lot of twist and turns and i was extremely scared, and I felt like the rollercoaster was going to fall of the track…

As I was brushing my teeth, I remembered what my cousin Sam had said to me the day before. "I, Sam Duncan," he declared, "am getting you on a roller coaster if it's the last thing I ever do. " I had laughed and said he was crazy. I was terrified of heights (I had fairly major acrophobia).…

When I was about nine years old, my family was debating about going to Cedar Point the upcoming weekend. I hadn't rode many roller coasters in my life at that time because I was only nine. Of course, trying to be manly, I totally agreed with their decision. My parents told me how big the roller coasters are, and how the roller coasters are some of the biggest in the world. I acted like I wasn't scared, and was talking about how I didn't care about the size of the roller coasters.…

Overcoming Roller Coasters Everyone has an experience in their lifetime where they had certain expectations going into something, based on someone else’s thoughts or opinions that happened to be completely wrong. Sometimes it makes the experience better, sometimes worse. I personally had an event be completely different than my mind set, but in my case it was truly for the better. When I was in elementary school, my mother went on about the horrors of roller coasters, mainly ranting about news articles she stumbled across while online.…

America’s Gift to my Generation To be honest, I think we all can agree that my generation was blessed with some phenomenal advancements in education, technology, and much more. I believe the field in which we’ve had the most advancements has to be either in medicine or technology; so I’ll talk about both! Some pretty insane tech has been invented over the course of this past decade. We’ve had more entertaining inventions like the new gaming consoles that have been blessed with amazing processing power and visual quality, as well as some more helpful technology that might assist you in keeping your life organized and fun.…
