My Argument
Steve Job is the co founder/CEO of Apple Computers and Pixar Animation. He gave an impeccable commencement speech to a graduating class at Stanford University. He shared 3 stories about his personal growth over the years and how it impacted to his life. After reading his speech I was inspired by his raw truths about life. I agree strongly with Steve Job’s outlook about connecting the dots, to find your path you can never give up the faith that everything that you do in life will lead you to where you are supposed to be.

Disagreers may even want to prove that sticking it out and finishing what you started is the only way to be successful. I think that success is measured with happiness. Don’t get me wrong, I intend to finish what I start, however like Steve, I believe that each thing that I do in life will connect the dots to my true success. Some people may have conflicting ideas about his speech and not have a passion to follow their heart and find the job that they really enjoy and have fun doing it, but instead to only work for the money and pay bills and even be miserable. Yes you do need a job to pay the bills but you should also take that time to find an incredible job that you find happiness in and then pay the bills with the money that you got from your dream job. Like Steve says “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work (Stanford Report, 2005).” So for all the disagreers out there , why would you settle for
