My American dreams consist of me growing up, finishing college, becoming successful in the career field of my choosing, and being able to support a family. This means I must work hard in high school and eventually in college. Then I must choose a field to go into and put hard labor into that field. He got right back up and made something of his life. He defied everyone who thought a poor boy could not become a rich boy. That is precisely what I need to do with my life. I need to go make something happen for me and work hard to achieve my goals I set for

My American Dream “So we beat on boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past” (Fitzgerald 180).
