I believe buildings significantly shape our characters and might be the reason for an emotional departure. Though, memories were saved in the photographs, I wanted a souvenir which reminded and connected myself to the memories of the home. An idea struck my mind; I sketched these homes and treasured them. My inclination towards being an Architect did not surprise my family. With rigorous preparation I could achieve All India Rank - 870, out of one million applicants in All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination, 2008 and accepted into one of the prestigious architecture schools in India, ‘School of Planning and Architecture, India’, recognized by the Indian government as ‘An Institute of National Importance’. I never imagined my dabbler thoughts would grow stronger in my Undergraduation. I led a team of students to design and build a temporary cafeteria merely out of bamboo waste. While taking those embryonic steps towards being a frugal Architect, my friends and professors recognized my conscious initiatives towards institutes’ progress, subsequently I grew into a student leader.
