I grew up in a big family from both sides of my parents, my intermediate family consist of my three brothers and both my parents. For most of my life I seen my cousins from both sides of my family either just graduating from high school, going to community college but eventually dropping out or cousins getting pregnant at an early age. The ones who are like that lack the ambition to further their education and have a successful career. It wasn’t until I was in middle school that I saw two of my cousins from my entire family go to a university. One went to a university in Bakersfield and the other one went to UCR, and from then on it got me thinking about going to a four year university.
