Have you ever had a flat tire on one of the most important moments of your life? I think everyone has had one at least once, but how or in what type of situation? If you have had a flat tire you would know the interesting part. My wife and I were expecting a baby, and she had been going to the doctor once a week for the past month. She would go to see the baby’s development, because her delivery day was soon. I was at Jack in the Box working and at the same time thinking it was going to be a good day; all of a sudden I received a cellphone call from my wife. The Doctor had told her that she needed to have surgery as soon as possible. I took a deep breath and told her that I was on my way to the hospital. I moved as quickly as I could; I grabbed my keys and humped into my truck. I never thought such event was going to change my life. However, I got a flat tire on one of the most important days of my life. I was going to see my baby boy for the first time. …show more content…
Today is going to be the longest day of my life”. So there I was in the side of the road trying to change the flat tire. While I was wet in sweat, I begin to realize how far I was from seeing my baby. To make things worse my phone had 5% of battery life and I didn’t have a car charger; I was not prepared to welcome my baby. As I was trying to change the tire, I realized that I didn’t have the tools to do so. I started to think who could help me at this point. I would have never thought this was going to be my situation during my wife’s delivery day. My choices were little with my phone about to die; I could only make one phone
