Richard Muther is current teaching in the Tabor Academy. Muther graduated from Colby College in 1981 and earned his Master of Education from Harvard University in 1990. In the Tabor Academy, He is the Director of Athletics and teaching in the Math Department. To be a teacher in an American primary school, he is an interviewee of “The American Dream” survey from a student who is currently studying Tabor Academy. “The American Dream” survey is mainly asking how do people view American Dream and how do people relate to the American Dream. Does American Dream bring benefit to American? Does American Dream help American to improve themselves? Muther does not affirm that it is helping or not. He says that there might be part of people who can affect the country and believe in American, can boost the American Dream. Whereas being one of the teachers in the whole country, he cannot do anything to it. To motivate American Dream to develop is one of the most important process and part to achieve the goal of American Dream. On the internet and in our life, there are some people said that “the desire of fame and wealth motivates the American Dream”.
