In Algeria the population is made of 99% of Muslims according to The World Fact Book. The if Muslims in Algeria are Sunni Muslims & they belong to Maliki school of jurisprudence. Algeria is 99.7%made of muslims. Most of the people in that country are muslims and the real name for them are Sunni. Sunni muslims have taken over a lot of Algeria because of the influence they have. Their influence is so strong that they now control about 99.7% of this large continent.
