Have you ever got banned from a place before? Whether it's a ban from school, a supermarket, or perhaps a relative house?You get the point that, getting banned from any place can affect the person in a negative way. Now imagine what a person goes through knowing that the president of United state has decided to ban people from their country into entering the U.S , based on others cruel acts. This ban could affect people who had tried months and months to get their Visas, so excited and ready to come to the USA, but in return get rejected because of the order. This could be people who were away from their families for years and years , who were willing to reunite , alas never knew they would have came across this stage in life. Imagine the fear.
In her op-ed, “Travel ban would hurt children,” Brenden , Kent argues that the travel ban would hurt kids & that it makes it okay to judge others based on their appearance , faith , or color. I agree with her statement, kids are quick to do what they see around them. The travel ban is going to hurt many people, not just particularly childern. Being a Muslim, and upon hearing that Somalia, my motherland, being one of the islamic countries banned had me in shock. Not just me but my entire family , including my younger siblings.
