Muslim Attack Research Paper

Imagine living a life in which there are people that question your practices or your religious beliefs or because that there are a few people in that group that take it to extreme measures, everyone else judges you for that and looks at your entire community as a threat. Imagine watching the people you are close friends with become distant over some event happening across the world. This is what a fair amount of Muslims have to face. Wether there are events that happened sixteen years ago or something that happened last week, there are still negative perception of Muslims.
Whenever there is an attack that is claimed by a Muslim based organization, like for instance Isis, it hurts the cause of wiping away discrimination against towards the Muslim community especially when there are people who use these attacks as a means to do unconstitutional things. More radical attacks happen and they become more and more difficult for the Muslim community to escape this negative perception. It does not help when there are individuals fueling this fire using peoples fears. Now Muslims face a travel ban that really conflicts with personal lives and restricts them of their freedom. People have been reporting of airport security detaining people they seem to suspect are Muslim. Even the son of famous boxer Muhammad Ali, Ali Jr. while returning from an event in Jamaica, was detained at airport by ICE officials and questioned him about his religion. They said it was to verify his passport but Ali Jr. stated "they didn't ask me nothing about my passport. They asked me, what religion was I? That's nothing to do with the passport” (Vales). This shows that security are antagonizing people at airports and making them feel like a target. It shows that officials
