In the American Revolution, music played an important part of American culture no matter what sector of society. Tons and tons of bachelors flooded the southern colonies and the longing for a wife dismantled a number of men out of their colony causing them to leave. Frequent and quick deaths caused by deadly diseases contributed to the decline on the number of women in the southern and northern colonies. The well known Bacon's Rebellion was one of the effects of the frustration felt by majority of the men's population. In the late 1700's, settlers began to adopt the environment they were in and created immunity among certain diseases. Women's population incline tremendously giving forth the rapid population growth. The need for land and shelter made the territories of the early colonies grow.In poor families, the housewives had to cook meals, make clothing, and clean in addition to making household goods to use and sell. Middle class and upper class women shared in most of these chores in their households, but often had servants to help. During this period, women were the main manufacturers of goods such as food and clothing consumption or profit. The men provided the raw materials like fur, eggs, fish, wheat, flour, meat and meat, the women in turn would then turn the raw materials into useful products such as clothing, cheese, cheese,butter and meats such as steak,chicken,bear meat, drum legs and fish, and other food products. Women contributed a economic contribution during this era. Families often relied on their eachother for labor. This would mean that women were expected to have lots and lots of children so that the family would have a huge and massive free labor force.
