I wish someone would ask me how I know that musical theatre is something that I wanted to do for the rest of my life. My answer to this question would show just how much I love to entertain. Talking about my start to musical theatre makes me delighted to think back to when I was younger. Thinking about the first musicals that I was in reminds me of how thrilled I was to discover new things about performing. I never got nervous to go all out and to do something big. The younger me didn’t care about how I looked, or what other people thought of my performance. The only thing that mattered was that I had fun.
