Your presentation was very well put together and flowed nicely from slide to slide. I learned quite a bit as I did not really know that Morphine was considered the golden standard for pain control in those suffering from moderate to severe pain. I work in the recovery unit and we use more Dilaudid than Morphine. We also use Fentanyl for fast acting pain relief. Music therapy seems to be popular in the elderly and I would often put the music channel on the television if my patient were suffering from dementia. It seemed to have a calming effect on them. Offering music therapy in conjunction with Morphine seems like it would be a great idea for those suffering with moderate to severe pain. I found it interesting
