I have made immense vocal progress over the past four years, but I know there is still more work to be done. I want to further develop my legitimate range and expand my belt. I want to make even larger strides in sight singing because, although I read music proficiently, I lack speed when put on the spot. Additionally, I want to advance my skills in tap dancing. I have expansive training in ballet and jazz, and some training in tap, but my goal is to reach a point where I can learn any combination of tap steps and execute them with complete accuracy and ease. Most prominently I plan to further my skills in truthful, honest communication of stories through song and dance. This involves improving and heightening my vulnerability onstage, and being the characters I play rather than acting the characters I play. It is my goal to be a vital, active member of the music theatre community, to be part of creating something much bigger than myself. I need to perform, I need to create, and I need to tell stories. I need to maintain the unbelievable sense of joy performing evokes within me so I can share it with others. No matter how challenging music theatre becomes, my passion, drive, and work ethic will effectively push me toward my goals, and that passionate, joyous little girl from my past will always be there in my heart, cheering me
