Once concluding my research on my career choice of music producing, I was able to gather a lot of information. Although I was unable to speak to someone about my career choice, I was able to provide myself with many websites that had a lot of credible information and even statistical information that was needed to help me complete my project.
Music Producers write, produce, and record songs. Producers can shape the sound for other artists or create beats and songs for their own projects. In the recording studio a producer records, edits, and mixes beats and manages the sound recording and production of an artist's music. Music producer pay varies greatly depending on the location, the level of success of the producer, and number of clients. Starting salary is hard to put down, in bigger cities, the money is better for a per track rate, but the more you work and the more popularity you get and the more likely you are to have a record make it and end up with a lot more business. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics records from May 2012, the 14,280 music producers employed throughout the United States earn an average yearly music producer salary of $55,340, which is equivalent to an hourly wage of $26.60. The top-paying state for this profession is by far Nevada, where music producers earn $81,050 each year. As a producer, you get to spend a lot of time at shows and music performances evaluating talent, listening to current sounds, and developing your own skills. You get to help create music and sounds and provide audiences with your own vision of music by guiding the work of artists and you get chances to hang out and work with
