Music has been apart of the human history for all of recorded time, and probably before, as flutes have been found among prehistoric archeological excavations. It has always been part of society as cultures have developed and history has advanced. Music has been a prominent part of religious practices and became a more accepted element of secular society during the advent of the Renaissance period. Along with human advancements such as the printing press, electronics and other methods of mass market production, music has continued to evolve and grow.
