The Museum of Modern Art of Bogota is one of the most valuable cultural institutions in Bogota, Colombia and Latin America. MAMBO organizes major curatorial programs that look to promote the arts at a national and international level. Our education department is in charge of affecting the lives of over 11.000 students that more and more understand the importance of culture and history. In addition MAMBO hosts several events such as inaugurations, artists talks, guided tours and an exclusive membership program that not only allows the Museum to achieve its goals, but also grow a group of art and culture enthusiast and supporters. Our recently appointed director, Claudia Hakim, inserts an innovative and futuristic vision to every of the departments and projects MAMBO has.

MAMBO intends to achieve these goals through a direct mail campaign, renewal campaign, sponsorship plan, space rental, innovative events and partnerships. As well as one to one fundraising.
Overall, the production cost of this plan will be of $70.000.00. This budget includes two major events, one for patrons and the other for the general public, production of image documents for the direct mail campaign and renewal campaign, design of sponsorship plan materials, payments to third party suppliers and image marketing outlets such as interviews, news paper posts, subway/taxi advertising and advertising at the main airports and stations. Also, MAMBO’s communication department will be conducting member surveys, general public surveys and major art character interviews in order to compile detailed information on visitor satisfaction, image and renewal response.
