Museum Campaign Analysis

Going through the museum campaign from Science World, it amazes me how many different types of media assets is used to share messages to the public/audience. Even that each one is directed not just at different age groups, but every kind of person and the message is the same. The have their logo and message on balloons directed at children who adore balloons. Digital Billboards, for people on the go in a rush or even tourists. 3D ads, giving it a new spin to get people talking. On Traditional Billboards, out on the highways where they can get the public's interest while driving. On anything the public can step on and cars. Have entertainment hold up signs with a message and their logo. For women and their jewelry letting us know that "pearls …show more content…
Especially when women are constantly being put down for every little reason; Especially, from another woman. If they can sell their product and make a positive statement then why not. Women really should and need to be nicer to each other. The Old Spiced Guy: Put any "good looking" with an accent and shirtless none-the-less guy in front of any woman and see ranging hormones spill out and continue to play with their mind that, "Hey he looks good, and really does smell good too? Hmm, maybe my man can smell that good and look that good too no matter where he is." Bam there goes a sells through the roof. It's funny though how one gets so much controversy and the other doesn't; They are both still selling something. How about Redbull and a successful mission to freefall from 128k in the sky! That is scary, yet someone brave enough goes for it. Nerves and excitement that it's happening and nothing but happiness in the end that it was an amazing success. KFC, Tmobile, ATT & Plenti teaming up and so many viral videos. They give what the audience wants and they are successful in selling their product to the …show more content…
Like Samsung teaming up with Marvel for The Avengers. Who wouldn't want to put on the avengers suits and have their super powers? I know I would. The effects are amazing, and it's so cool kind of makes myself a little jealous I wasn't aware of the casting for the video haha. Anyway, a little over seven minutes, but they get the audience hooked and they promote their new phone and the new Avengers movie that was out May 1st in theaters. Seeing all these viral videos, gets me hyped to know I too can get some ideas and I will get my editing skills up to par to theirs and one day better.

I have joined Group 1 for this week's group project, I have reached out to my teammates today (12/2) and haven't heard back just yet. I hope soon, I'm looking forward to working with my group. I will get a head start on my part of the project today, which I have chosen to work on a 3 - 10 second video "Teaser" which I'm excited to work on it and see how it turns out. Hopefully my group and I can swap some ideas and opinions before Sunday's due

In the novel, Animal Farm, by George Orwell, Napoleon is a fierce candidate with a determined mindset. His goals are short-term and pragmatic, and he uses a multitude of propaganda in order to influence the opinions of the animals. The specific propaganda techniques we have incorporated into the poster varies. We used name calling by stating, “Snowball’s regime is a fraud,” to attach a negative connotation to Snowball’s name in order to manipulate the animals into voting for Napoleon.…

I am a quick learner. Almost like a fish to water, most of the time it takes me a few short tries before I can just “get” something. However, group projects take my ease of learning away because now I have to depend on others and their expertise. My successes and theirs are now intertwined, and usually for a substantial amount of points.…

Alex Christians and I interviewed Gerald Bosch, this process was illuminating because I have not had much experience working with a group. I felt that our communication and organization was essential to our success. As for the work load, Alex put in more than his fair share of effort. He created the initial timeline, worked on his half of the attorney interview, creating questions and asking his questions to Mr. Bosch.…

For our group project, I was teamed up with Jordin, Jon, and Levi. I thought our group worked well together, we met when we coordinated to meet and accomplished what we needed to. We had to work fast and efficiently, since we had not met before the break. Everything was evenly divided up and then we started to do our parts individually. We all did our parts that we were assigned to do, and I think we did a good job of coordinating them together.…

Looking back on the past couple weeks on the project, I think we have done some valuable work that will help us on making our final conclusions with this project. This task differed from the way I normally do things as like I said in the last journal, English is not usually a group project class. I have greatly improved my communication with the team which is the key to success when in a group. Even though we have done previous projects with each other, there is always room for improvement in communication which I think we have all worked well to get better at. Some difficulties that we as a group have faced would be mainly finding a day in common with each other, and the person we interview as sometimes our schedules are so busy with sports,…

Overall, I was extremely happy with the effort my group put into this project. In terms of attending the group meetings, everyone was present and participated in the discussion. The first meeting took place on a Sunday afternoon at Baruch and the second meeting took place on a weeknight in the form of a Google Hangout. The times and places of these meetings alone displayed every group members’ commitment to the project, effort to accommodate for scheduling conflicts, and effort to ensure they are contributing their fair share to the group regardless the time or day of the week. At these meetings, we discussed ways to engage the crowd and critiqued each other’s slides and presentations.…

Group projects can be beneficial or detrimental, and group projects are often stereotyped as miserable and stupid. In my past, I’ve done many group projects where I was the only person in the group putting any effort in. I was more than pleased to be in a group that contributed, so I didn’t have to do everything. Our group worked well together, and everyone made the environment fun. Basically, we all chose topics we wanted to go into detail about.…
