Murder Vs Mustache
Pets can be a symbol of our childhood or our safety zone, but what if they were taken from us? Although this can be horrific, it is just one situation this kind-hearted man had to face.
The Old Man in “The Story of the Old Man Who Made Withered Trees to Flower” had the more difficult conflict to face than Mike in “The Moustache.” The kind-hearted Old Man was taken advantage of again and again by his murdering, thieving neighbor, whereas Mike only had to deal with his grandmother trying to kiss him. Mike’s dilemma was his facial hair and his grandmother that is senile and sees Mike as her husband, while The Old Man dealt with murder, theft, and identity fraud.
The Old Man had a dog, Shiro, that has brought riches and fortune
