Murder Ink Analysis

This trio like Murder Ink was very fascinating to me. How they all came together and how they worked on #realityhigh. This was the culmination of our #reality trilogy.

Fernando’s story was one that I was fascinated with the most. For him to not to initially be interested in film, go from pitching an idea to his boss and becoming extremely successful is the story you on hear in movies. This goes to what many of the other guests have said. Go after you dream; people will see your talent. When Fernando was telling his story I was in awe of how quickly he became successful in Mexico.

I also respect the when Fernando was tired of doing unscripted television because his heart was not in it anymore, he stopped. When I was an undergrad, I was studying business and I had an epiphany that I didn’t want to do business, I was doing what my parents wanted me to do and my heart was not in it. I changed my major that day to Mass Media and here I am today, trying to pursue my career in TV. Another theme throughout this semester and was the same here tonight was working with your friends.

During my internship, there were many times when I was given tasks that would normally take 2 days and complete them by the end of the day. At first, I failed. After I failed, I regrouped and told myself that if I could get this done it would be impressive and slightly improve my chances of getting a job after this internship. Although I did not get offered a job, during my last lunch with my team, they told me that I was hard working and if they had anything open they would call me because my work ethic is phenomenal. Hearing that from them and hearing that John respects Ru so much for him being that way, let me know that I am on the right track to future

Throughout the course of this semester, taking TCF 201 has taught me about, even though I come to the conclusion that going in this direction of actually being a filmmaker is not for me, in the end. However, it did teach me a great deal. I never knew how much work could go into producing and directing your own work, I mean I had a general idea, but nothing to this magnitude of the amount of work that it takes, plus the hours of sleep that I have lost took a toll on me as well. But it was all worth it.…

Lack of critical thinking does not inhibit the responsibilities of writers, to persuade readers with their perspective. The purpose of literacy is to express the human experience through a larger context. Literacy is often viewed to be limited by its language and how it addresses issues but as our world continues to develop. David Kirkland points out, in “The Skin We Ink”, that “it is important to re-conceptualize literacy as a human practice and expand English education to study its multiple forms.” If literacy was re-conceptualized to the modern era, language, formats, and other disciplines writers have used for centuries would be insignificant to the value of the literacy.…

For my community event I went to the Romero Theater Troupe’s presentation of Thoughts on Regime Change & Other Acts of Resistance at Regis University on February 25th. This event was heavily focused on immigration and included actual stories from immigrants and their families as well as other stories that discussed critical issues in our society today. From this event I feel like I learned a ton about how immigration can affect families and how hard it can be to come to this country. Many of the stories were something that I could never relate to due to my own circumstances so it was very interesting to be able to see how people feel and how they are treated as immigrants. I feel like I really learned a lot from the Lopez family’s performance…

I knew I wasn 't going to be able to spend hours on Netflix while taking minimal time out of my day to complete homework. So, I improved my study habits and set aside ample amount of study time for every course and assignment to ensure I achieved all of academics goals on time. Also, I knew I had to get involved with student organizations, social events, along with academic success. I was interested in student government the moment my RA mentioned it because I 've always had an intrigue in politics. I won the treasurer position for Dabney Hall and was excited that I had already gotten involved in an organization that accomplishes such a great amount for students.…

Aaron Cole November 20, 2017 Professor Brozgal Paper 2 Murder in Memoriam: Discovery of Truth Taking influence on real historical events, Didier Daeninckx’s prize winning second novel—Murder in Memoriam—crafts the widely known historic reality of the Holocaust with the overlooked tragedy known as the massacre of Algerians on the 17th of October in 1961. The two events are expertly crafted to create a world of universal truth at last acknowledged. Tying these histories together by use of characters, presentation of unknown truth, as well as applying agency to three points of views, Daeninckx works to legitimize the lesser-known events of the Algerians to fully realize the literary purpose of Murder in Memoriam.…

In Poe’s detective stories “The Murders in the Rue Morgue” and “The Purloined Letter,” Dupin serves as a model of rational deduction. Dupin seems to have almost supernatural deductive ability in solving mysteries. Since Dupin’s use of reason to solve mysteries is central to these stories, determining Poe’s views on the nature of reasoning is critical to an understanding of their meaning. Hurh (2012) argues that the description of Dupin’s dual nature of “the creative and the resolvent” (Poe, 1841/1975, p.144) alludes to an analytical method called “the regress” (p. 471, 476).…

The Day I Grew Up Walking down the road to my first job was the day I realized my life had changed. My first real responsibilities were beginning and accountability was starting to crawl its way into my life. I would have to sacrifice countless hours of free time, hanging out with friends, and sleep in order to work. I relate to Schoonover because like her on the weekends, I would go to the lake with my friends and out to lunch with them. Also, since I acquired the job, I would need to start paying for necessities and extracurricular activities on my own.…
