That it's discrimination based on age. Adamant as they might be, what laws are there to support this? If that is the case, are laws concerning alcohol considered examples of discrimination? Not unlike voting or drinking, eating in a restaurant requires a level of maturity. This maturity is needed so as to refrain from rude behaviors while at a restaurant. If teenagers cannot do that then it is the right of the owner to take action. It is befuddling to think that having a calm lunch is considered by some to be unconstitutional.
Banning teens was the smart action to take for the good of the business. Doing this draws adult customers who purchase more, creating a larger revenue for the company. Age plays a large part in how we are seen and what we are able to do. Consequently, it only makes sense that this also applies to businesses including restaurants.
