Ancient Egypt
When you think of Egypt, you think of pyramids, mummies, and Cleo Patra. Even though those things are important, there is a lot more then just that. When you read this, you will be surprised at how much there really was, and how some things are still holding together today. Some history may not be true, as in Cleopatra because no tomb was built for her and if there was one it was destroyed. Some say mummification was started upon Chinchorros. Now lets see their history in what they did.
Pyramids
Egyptians were famous for much of their architecture, but they are mostly famous for their pyramids, and of how they were made. Pyramids can be defined as "large structures with four triangular sides that meet in a point at the top, directly over the center of the pyramid's square base." Wrapping the pasted person in cloth when they don’t have much money. Then if you do have money like the Pharos, they had pyramids with a tomb, that had thing that they wanted to bring to the after life. The mummification process was then done. Spices to preserve the body, then jewelry on them, and cloth strips to wrap them up.
Famous Mummies
The "ginger" is just one of the most famous mummies ever discovered. King Tut was nine when he ruled. He died when he was approximately 19. Not a long life time. This mummy was one of the first that had a curse on it for "whom ever must disturb must grief upon him".
Cleopatra
Cleopatra was a Pharos with her two younger brothers and her oldest son. Some people say that she was not Egyptian, and her family origins to Macedonian, Greece. Cleopatra was mostly known for her beauty and “irresistible charm” that made her so desirable. In history, she had a voice in her three brothers deaths.
