It could be a time waster since you’ll need to switch from one task to another, and may require constant reminder of what to do. It would probably take you longer to finish two projects when you are jumping back and forth than it would to finish each one separately. Study estimates that switching between tasks can cause 40% loss in productivity. It can also cause you to do errors into whatever you are working on, especially if one or more of your activities involves a lot of critical thinking. Multitasking might keep you busy, but at the end of the day, the question is how much you have accomplished. If it is not much, your management might actually think that there is a drop in your efficiency level. Your brain, like any other muscle, can be a disaster due to multi tasking. Switching between tasks and making multiple decisions might tire your brain to an extent that you might end up being a poor or less-effective decision
