Multitasking is the apparent performance by an individual of handling more than one task, or activity at the same time. Multitasking has become a part of our everyday routine. With having a lot of work to do in a day, multitasking can be helpful. An individual can finish more than one task in a short period of time, which will leave them more time to do other things. I enjoy multitasking because I feel accomplished once all of my work is done. However, sometimes when multitasking, one thing may be rushed and or overlooked. This can cause a person to become stressed. After thinking about it, this makes multitasking both effective and ineffective, depending on the person and what they are doing. Multitasking can help one to get more than one job done at the same time, but it can also be a distraction from a more important task and can lead to something going wrong if one is not careful. One must be alert and able to handle and pay attention thoroughly when multitasking. Multitasking can be helpful and efficient when one properly prioritizes their assignments.

The good thing about online shopping is you can search various sites at one time, especially if you’re looking for a particular item. You can have multiple sites open to compare prices. I am a bargain shopper. I will search multiple sites for the same item just to see who has the item cheaper. For my son’s party and my wedding, I browsed the internet from night and day looking for the same items just at a cheaper price. I think online shopping is an effective way of multitasking if you’re shopping for different items or doing an assignment.
