First, multitasking increases productivity. Doing things one at a time is a long, painful, process. Multitasking can make those things done a lot quicker when done right. For example, Source 4 states that, “Multitasking can actually serve to maximize your time rather than destroy it.” This means that multitasking can make one person or a group of people more productive with their time. Productivity can be established with effective multitasking.
Second, multitasking can save money. For most people, money is extremely important when it comes to business. Multitasking can help conserve a lot of money, and therefore, help businesses grow. When people don’t want to do that irritating chore or that long homework assignment, they procrastinate. They wait until the last minute to do it, and end up screwing themselves over. This can all be resolved with multitasking. According to Source 3, “Those who multitask will be less likely to procrastinate between tasks. Such people will be more motivated because they will see what they’re getting done and achieving.” This means that people will see how much they are achieving by multitasking, and be motivated by it to keep accomplishing tasks. However, there are some wrong ways to multitask. For example, Source 4 states that taxing the same parts of your brain while multitasking is a bad idea. To elaborate, as long as your doing things that attribute to different parts of the brain, multitasking will be effective. Multitasking is huge when it comes to preventing
