Abstract
The Multiple sclerosis (MS) disease of the central nervous system containing the brain and spinal cord is potentially disabling. With Multiple Sclerosis (MS) the immune system attacks the protective sheath (myelin) that covers nerve fibers and causes a disruption in communication between the brain and the rest of the body. At some point in time, the disease can cause the nerves themselves to deteriorate or become permanently damaged. The signs and symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) are very different for every patient depending of the amount of and where the nerve damage is. The range is so wide that some patients are disabled for the rest of their life as to where some people live normal life not even knowing they have the disease.
