Rationale
Understating the role of Cannabis and myelin sheath repair should not be misconstrued with just smoking. The reason for this is because effects of THC are not the same as the effects of cannabis (9). Experimental Design
To determine the THC effectiveness experimental and controlled trials will be performed on Mus musculus test subjects. Over a period of time, the experimental subjects will be both be given periodical MRI test to observe and determine lesion growth in the brain. When the subjects are deceased, a statistical analysis will be set to determine the longevity of the lesion growths for both the control and experimental subjects. Anticipated Results, Potential Pitfalls, and Alternative Strategies
The THC is not only beneficial for pain reduction but it helps with treatment-resistant spasticity (10). Ultimately, cannabis could potentially have other benefits to its users such as help with common symptoms such as: sleep, pain, and anxiety which are just some issues MS patients suffer (11). Furthermore, future studies should be implemented to examine if the concentration of doses can result in an increase in beneficial effects with less impact
