Do you ever think about food constantly 24 hours a day awake or sleep? Do you ever get anxiety when eating foods that you know are not necessarily healthy for you? Do you wish to have a certain and would kill or die for the dream body? These are the issues that I use to face every day with multiple eating disorders. What is an eating disorder you ask? An eating disorder is characterized by which negative eating patterns are developed that change perception of body image and begin to affect health mentally and physically. The most common diseases are anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge-eating disorder. So why would I write an essay about an eating disorder as a talent. The reason is that with the energy, time and determination it took without any counseling help but rather self help to not even be fully cured is enough …show more content…
I may not be the smartest or make the best decisions most of the time, with my positive attitude, discipline, and willing to learn everyday, I believe that this is what separates me from any other applicant who applies. From dying to be thin so that I could live my dream of playing in the NFL to now living a life were everyday is a new day to learn more about yourself and the world with no longer a desire to go to the NFL, I want to use my unique ability to help others who struggle mentally and physically and to one day have a near happy world. I believe that going to UNT will help me be able to achieve because of the diverse degrees, culture and community that you will present to me and that I sincerely hope that you will accept me into your fine establishment as I continue my pursuit in the health field.
