12-3. If I have the opportunity to choose in which type of multinational enterprise to work I would choose in a Micro-Multinational. These types of organizations are born globally and operated internationally since the first day which provide freedom to select the markets in which the organization wants to operate without having to be tie to its home markets. In addition, since the company is small there will be more opportunities to grow and to create my own path through the organization and eventually experience different levels and strategic markets of the organization. Micro-national organizations focus in the efficiency of it product and the level of innovation they are capable on putting on it. The type of management skills and executive perspectives would make me a suitable candidate for these type of organizations are; for instance, good technological and technical knowledge, self-motivated and independent worker, cultural sensitive and aware of possible changes in trends, and multilingual and quality for quick adaptations. IBM have demonstrated for many years the successful transition form an international corporation to a fully globally integrated enterprise. In this path the company have been able to evolve and achieve massive growth simplifying the technological processes and sharing resources globally in a very efficient was. This have been made possible through the implementation of both global and domestic reach in order to meet the customer’s demands and markets response. The idea that would replace the globally integrated enterprise is the Mentanational idea. The ability to turn underused knowledge into global-dominant innovations will be the key factor for the success and continuous growth of this type of enterprise.
