I have not completed a multidimensional health assessment, yet, as we have not learned all of the different health assessments. However, I have been able to implement skin, respiratory, and cardiac assesses on my resident. I also have demonstrated beginning skills in prioritizing assessment. The importance of which assessment to do first is based off my resident’s current diagnosis. Important assessment’s for my resident are respiratory and cardiac because of his chronic heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and hypertension. The first activity I do with my resident each clinical day includes gathering my resident’s vital signs and assessing him for any changes in cardiac or heart sounds.
