Australia is a multicultural society and culture, to a large extent. There is however, aspects in which affect how we are a hybrid society. This concept of multiculturalism has been evident within the publication of ‘Life in Australia’ (Department Of Immigration And Citizenship), stating that “Australians from all cultures and religions can, within the law, maintain their traditions and beliefs while being united as one community”. Furthermore, it’s evident within our society that we have many ‘cultural hubs’ filled with many ethnicities and religions, according to the SBS interactive map of Australian Immigrants.
