1. My age group is primary. The first material I would have is different dolls for the different races in my class and have them in different genders as well. I want them to feel like nobody is better than the rest and that we are all equal. The second material would be the book Mixed Blessings A Child’s book about a Multi-Racial Family I think this book would be very educational for all the children in my class because it shows about different race families and how every family is a blessing. The third material would be photo albums for each child’s family and the children can do a little show a tell about their families. It would be a good way for everybody to learn about other families.
