. The most vulnerable group of children centres, are the young children and their families, especially the disadvantaged families. The children’s centres main core goal is to improve the outcomes for children and their families, specifically concentrating on deprived families, so that they can reduce the inequalities in child development and educational readiness (Foundationyears.org.uk, 2015). Another positive thing that children centres do, is give opportunities for mums, dads and carers, such as sharing new play and learning experiences together. The centre users can also meet new friends and interact with people that are in similar situations, for example, parents who are widowed or who are facing a form of abuse. This gives them the opportunity to talk with others comfortably while also getting the right professional support. To do this the centre has to work with multi agencies to get the best outcomes for the children and their families.
