arranged a marriage for her. after the war the emperor offered a place for her in his council but she denied only wanting to go back to her family.

Mulan earned more respect for women during the wei dynasty from the emperor and the people because of her courageous act of joining the military. After capturing leopard skin and bringing him to the emperor's court where he is to be beheaded, after leopard skin's execution the king had asked mulan to join his army but she kindly denies saying she only wants to go back to her family. As a result of the emperor asking mulan to be a member of the council it shows that even though mulan is a woman she was asked to be part of the emperors council one of the greatest honors in ancient China showing
