In the Summer of 1912, Olivia Valence disappeared from her home in Florence, Italy. After many months of searching, police declared her dead based on a streak of blood above her nightstand. The case turned cold, no one was ever charged. The case became a national phenomenon, with vigils held everywhere. By mid-1913 it began to fade from people’s mind. The case was forgotten for a couple years, until her mother disappeared. About the same time the next year, her mother disappeared from her Florence home in the middle of the night. Blood was also found strewn above her nightstand. The nation went into a frenzy, many blaming Olivia’s stepfather. He was cleared after a thorough investigation in 1915. Legend has it, Muhjah Todd was an elderly woman who died a terrible death. She had no family, friends, or a spouse. Many say Muhjah was murdered by a neighbor who was never caught. She now feeds on entire families in the house she used to live in it. The myth doesn’t have any reliable facts that support it. Police were unable to find any records, as Muhjah live in a time before documentation or records. They estimated she lived around the same time as many of the supposed Greek Gods. The police was so desperate to find a possible suspect, they actually put Muhjah down as a suspect. The chief of the station said in his report, “We have sustainable evidence that we are unable to release into the public that supports paranormal activity in the house.” In their defense, the Florence Police Department fell apart in the early nineteen hundreds.
