The real question is How did this one person get to be so important and so recognized by many people? Before he was known as Muhammad Ali;He was known as Cassius Marcellus Clay Junior. Cassius Clay was born on January 17, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky. It all started one day when Muhammad Ali was 12.
